Scouting report: Heat center Hassan Whiteside (left knee bone bruise) is expected to play and start against Orlando. He’s missed the past 13 games with his injury. Rodney McGruder (left tibia surgery), Okaro White (left foot surgery), Dion Waiters (sprained left ankle), James Johnson (right ankle bursitis) and Justise Winslow (strained left knee) have been ruled out for the Heat’s game against Orlando. …The Magic are also dealing with a bunch of injuries. Terrence Ross (sprained right MCL) and Nikola Vučević (fractured second metacarpal of left hand), Evan Fournier (sprained right ankle) and Aaron Gordon (strained right calf) have been ruled out for Tuesday’s game. Jonathan Isaac (sore right ankle) will play. … The Magic enter on an eight-game losing streak, with their last win coming on Dec. 6 against the Hawks. During this skid, Orlando has posted the league’s worst defensive rating. … The Heat have won six of their past nine games. … Heat guard Tyler Johnson is averaging 14.9 points on 53.4 percent shooting in 11 December games. … Miami is 12-3 this season when holding opponents to under 100 points. …The Heat lost to the Magic 116-109 in Orlando on Oct. 18 in the season opener. … The Heat have lost their last four meetings with the Magic.
