Shopping was more than a pleasure for those at the Miami Shores Publix today.

If you timed it right, you might have been bumping carts with a celebrity by the canned goods, or asking him to reach for any items on the top shelf in the cereal isle.

That’s because Pat Riley went on a shopping spree.

The Miami Heat president was photographed by Rise Miami News pushing a shopping cart that he was filling to purchase and hand out to victims of Hurricane Irma.

Riley went out on his own without informing the Heat. When asked for a comment from Rise Miami he refused to be interviewed saying he did not want the publicity. He will be handing out the items in the Little Haiti section of Miami.
