Justise Winslow made 195 shots in his rookie season with the Heat. This was the craziest.
Winslow’s unusual basket against the Nets took place when he was trying to pass the ball outside, but it was deflected by Bojan Bogdanovic. When Bogdanovic blocked it, he sent it off Winslow’s arm and somehow into the basket.
Former NBA player Bo Kimble, who was the teammate of the late Hank Gathers at Loyola Marymount, told TMZ he thinks Miami Heat star Chris Bosh should consider retirement.
Bosh has missed major portions of the past two seasons due to issues with and complications from blood clots. But Bosh is reportedly ready to come back and is hoping to do precisely that.
Kimble, on the other hand, says it isn’t worth it.
“There are so many other things he could do with his life,” he told TMZ. “Hank Gathers had the same thing, Hank could have been a comedian, and actor or did speaking engagements. It’s not worth the risk. I would just say absolutely not, don’t do it.
“If Hank had the ability to do it again he wouldn’t have paid the ultimate price,” Kimble continued. “I am sure [Bosh] has children and they are going to need their father around as much as possible.”
