As the Heat fell apart in the second half of Saturday’s loss to the Hornets, there were two unusual moves by Erik Spoelstra.

The first was at the start of the third quarter, when he assigned Dwyane Wade to guard 7-footer Frank Kaminsky. It turned out to be less of a strategic move than an attempt to cover for Goran Dragic’s foul trouble (he had three at halftime). Spoelstra moved Luol Deng to Kemba Walker and pushed Dragic over to Courtney Lee.
