When the Heat drafted Michael Beasley with the second overall pick of the 2008 NBA Draft, they envisioned him becoming one of the league’s top scorers.

One of the more puzzling situations with the Heat is coach Erik Spoelstra’s plan for Amar’e Stoudemire and Chris Andersen.
Both are in the twilight of their careers, but still have something to offer. Stoudemire has been decent offensively in spot appearances, and Andersen is coming off a productive season in which he averaged 10.2 points, 9.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks per 36 minutes.

Monday was a wild night for the Heat, who finally beat Atlanta after getting smacked around the past year-plus, and it was extra weird for Goran Dragic.
In the third quarter, Dragic took an elbow to the mouth from Hawks center Al Horford and broke one of his front teeth.
