The Heat are taking a break as the league prepares for All-Star weekend. The Heat Mailbag never takes a break.

From @ChrisHypeTrain: What happens with Winslow when McGruder and Olynyk return?
Winslow has been given every opportunity as a starter at power forward, as a starter as small forward, as a facilitator with the ball in his hands and something is missing.
We’ve seen glimpses of the player the Heat hoped they got when he was taken 10th overall in 2015 and I think he’s looked best as a point forward, but those occasions have been rare. And the last four games have been UGLY with the 6-foot-7 Winslow averaging 3.3 points and shooting 20 percent. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra likes to say Winslow makes “winning plays,” but we haven’t seen many of those lately, or this season to be honest.
That said, with Rodney McGruder expected to make his season debut next week after having surgery on his leg in October and the Heat hopeful Kelly Olynyk returns soon from his strained shoulder, someone’s time will be drastically reduced and Winslow looks to the guy. I just don’t see many minutes for him with so many bodies. I understand he has started the last six games but he should be the 11th man when McGruder and Olynyk return.
From Kevin, Chicago: I saw Wade took the final shot against Philly, will he continue to be the player the Heat call on to take the big shots?
Just getting off that shot was a great sign for the Heat. And it was on line and had a great chance to drop but was just short. Wade did something few can do on this team and create a shot with everything on the line. After setting the pick for Wayne Ellington and receiving the pass from Goran Dragic, he did a great job of eluding Ben Simmons and getting off a clean look. And with the score 104-102, the 27-footer would have won the game. Josh Richardson has been the Heat’s primary go-to guy this season and they have looked to Ellington, Olynyk and Dragic a few times in those situations but Wade still can create a shot which will make him a primary option.
