MIAMI — After losing the season opener in Orlando, the Heat have bounced back to win two straight.

Without center Hassan Whiteside, Miami (2-1) defeated Atlanta 104-93 at AmericanAirlines Arena on Monday. The Heat now move on to a Wednesday showdown with the San Antonio Spurs (3-0).
