MIAMI — The Heat will be without Justise Winslow in Tuesday’s home preseason game against the Magic.

Winslow will miss the contest because of a tight back. It’s the first preseason game Winslow has missed, as the 20-year-old small forward was the only Heat player to start in each of the team’s first five preseason games.

But Winslow isn’t concerned about the injury and he’s hopeful he will return later this week to play in at least one the Heat’s final two preseason games.

“It’s fine. I think I just slept wrong,” Winslow said before Tuesday’s game. “But it’s loosening up every day. It’s still preseason, so I don’t want to push it too hard or overstress it. I should be good.”

Winslow is averaging 8.8 points on 45.9 percent shooting to go with 3.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists this preseason. He’s expected to be the Heat’s starting small forward this season.

Center Hassan Whiteside (death in family), guard Josh Richardson (knee), and forwards Josh McRoberts (foot) and Luke Babbitt (groin) will also miss Tuesday’s preseason game.
