2016 ESPY Awards: Wade, LeBron, Carmelo, CP3 give anti-violence speech (video)

The recent gun violence and ongoing tension between police and the Black Lives Matter movement pushed four NBA superstars to the point where they felt compelled to speak out about it at the ESPY Awards on Wednesday.

Former Heat players Dwyane Wade and LeBron James, along with Chris Paul and Carmelo Anthony, delivered a three-minute speech calling for action on both sides. They also implored their fellow athletes to take advantage of the platform they’ve been given.
