Hassan Whiteside’s epic block vs. Hornets makes NBA’s top 10 for 2015-16

Heat center Hassan Whiteside blocked 269 shots this year. None were better than this.

In an early-February game at Charlotte, near his hometown, Whiteside came off the bench for a points-rebounds-blocks triple-double and picked up his 10th block and rebound on the same play. Marvin Williams attacked the rim late in the game, and Whiteside swung with his right arm to block and catch the ball in one swipe. He flipped it ahead to Goran Dragic, and the Heat finished the fastbreak with Dwyane Wade.
