2016 NBA playoffs: Jeb Bush twice fails to congratulate Dwyane Wade on Twitter

Well, this could’ve gone better.

Former Florida governor Jeb Bush was riding high after the Heat beat Charlotte in Game 6 to save their season. He was too excited, apparently, to spell Dwyane Wade’s name right in congratulatory tweet.

Granted, Wade doesn’t use either of the conventional forms of his first name, but this first attempt by Bush (according to Deadspin) was atrocious:

Hard to explain how that happened. If Bush knows one person on earth named “Dawane,” I’ll be surprised.

Anyway, he took a better shot on the retry, but still didn’t get there:
