NBA Playoffs picture, scenarios: Heat’s games vs. Orlando matter a ton

The Heat picked a win they badly needed by beating Chicago on Thursday and now eye an equally necessary weekend sweep of the Magic.

They are in Orlando tonight (7 p.m., Fox Sports Sun) and host the Magic on Sunday for a pair of games they probably can’t afford to lose as they chase the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference.

After Miami and Atlanta won Thursday, here are the updated standings:
